A Modash alternative that checks the video itself.
Modash is best known for finding creators, and it also tracks what they post. Pozto doesn’t find creators. It watches the videos of the creators you already work with and shows where your product appears, down to the second, tagged or not.
The short answer
If your hardest problem is finding the right creators, Modash is built for that, with a search database of hundreds of millions of profiles. Pozto has no discovery database.
If you already have a roster and your hardest problem is knowing what they posted, Pozto is built for that. Modash files posts by the hashtags, mentions and keywords you set. Pozto matches the video against photos of your product, so a creator who shows it without tagging you still counts.

Where Modash is the better fit
- Finding new creators. Modash’s search covers 380M+ profiles. Pozto can’t help you find people you don’t already know, apart from creators who already show your product (Brand plan).
- Instagram Stories. Modash collects Stories before they expire. Pozto checks TikTok, Reels and Shorts, not Stories.
- Payments and affiliate. Modash pays creators and manages affiliate links on its Performance and Enterprise plans. Pozto doesn’t pay creators.
- One tool from search to report. If you want outreach, an inbox and tracking in one place, Modash covers more of that path.
Modash also offers a 14-day free trial with no card needed, and doesn’t ask creators to connect their accounts.
Where Pozto is the better fit
Tracking by tags works when creators follow the brief. With gifted product, many don’t. They show the product and forget the tag, or tag you in a video where the product never appears.
- It finds your product in the video. Pozto matches frames, speech and captions against photos and names of your products, and shows the exact second it appears. No hashtag needed. See how untagged detection works.
- It catches tags without the product. A tag in the caption doesn’t mean the product is in the video. Pozto shows you which posts actually feature it.
- Every creator gets a status. Posted, check, waiting, ghosted or not tagged, so you see who’s done and who went quiet without sorting an “all content” feed by hand.
- One-tap nudges. On Growth, late creators, or ones who showed the product without tagging you, get a friendly note you approve in one tap.
- Pricing by active creator. Free for your first 10 creators. Growth covers 250 creators for $449 a month.
Use both
Modash and Pozto do different jobs, so they fit together. Use Modash to find creators and reach out. Once product ships, import the same creators into Pozto with a CSV. Pozto then checks each new video for your product and gives every creator a status. Modash covers finding people; Pozto covers proof of posting.
Modash vs GRIN vs Pozto
If you’re weighing Modash against GRIN or Upfluence, you’re mostly comparing discovery databases and CRM features. Pozto isn’t in that race. It’s the tool you add when you need to know what your creators actually posted. For a direct comparison, see Pozto vs GRIN.
