The template

It’s plain text, so it pastes cleanly into Google Docs, Notion, Slides or an email. Keep the section order the same every month. Comparing months is where the report earns its keep.

How to fill in each section

1. Summary

Write this last. Four numbers and one sentence. Most readers stop here, so the sentence should say what changed and what you’ll do about it, not just “a great month.”

2. Post rate

Divide creators who posted by kits delivered, not kits shipped. Lost parcels aren’t a creator problem. Show last month next to this month, and split by creator size if you seed across tiers: it’s often where the real story is.

3. Posts

List every post with a link. “Product on screen” is the second your product first appears, like 0:04–0:11. It answers the question leadership actually asks: did people see it? A post that tags you but never shows the product isn’t worth the same as one that holds it up for seven seconds.

4. Untagged posts

Count posts that showed your product without tagging you. If you only search by tag, this section will be empty, and your post rate will be too low. Finding them means watching creators’ videos, which is why most reports skip it. Here’s how untagged detection works.

5. Top videos

Three is enough. For each, one line on why it worked: the format, the hook, how the product was shown. This is the section your content team will use.

6. Cost

Cost per post is the most useful single number for seeding. Add cost per 1,000 views to compare with paid social. If you include media value, write down the method next to it so nobody compares it with a figure from another tool. The seeding ROI calculator and EMV calculator do the math.

7. Next month

One or two concrete changes, tied to what the numbers showed. “Seed more micro creators, their post rate was twice the mid tier’s” beats “keep optimizing.”

Where the numbers come from

  • Deliveries: your shipping or fulfillment tool.
  • Posts, dates and links: checking each creator’s feed, or your tracking spreadsheet.
  • Product on screen: watching each video. There’s no shortcut by hand.
  • Views: each post, about a week after it goes up.
  • Sales: your store’s discount code or affiliate report.

Or let Pozto fill it in

Most of this report is checking: who posted, when, whether the product was on screen and whether they tagged you. Pozto does that checking. It watches every TikTok, Reel and Short your creators post, matches frames, audio and captions against photos of your product, and records the exact second it appears.

You get a daily digest on every plan, and on the Growth plan a weekly report you can forward to leadership, with untagged appearances included. See influencer tracking or pricing.

Questions

How often should I send an influencer report?

Monthly suits most seeding programs. Weekly works during a launch. Keep the same format either way so periods compare.

Should I include EMV?

Only if your team already uses it, and always with the method written next to it. Cost per post and cost per 1,000 views are easier to defend.

What’s the most important number in a seeding report?

Post rate, measured from delivery. It drives cost per post and every value number after it.

Can I use this for paid campaigns too?

Yes. Add the fee per creator to the cost section and an “agreed vs delivered” column to the posts table.
