BRAND AMBASSADOR SOFTWARE

Brand ambassador software that counts the posts for you.

Ask each ambassador or affiliate for a number of posts every month. Pozto finds them on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, shows who’s on track and who missed last month, and checks that each post discloses the deal the right way. Nobody has to submit a link.

Built from real public posts, checked by hand. Glow Recipe isn’t a Pozto customer or partner.

The hard part of an ambassador program is the counting

An ambassador program runs on a simple promise: perks, a fee or a commission in exchange for a few posts a month. Keeping that promise visible is the work. Someone has to check every ambassador’s accounts, count this month’s posts, notice who went quiet, and look at whether each post says it’s an ad.

Most brand ambassador software asks the ambassador to do the reporting. BrandChamp’s ambassador platform page, for example, says “Brand ambassadors can submit social activities and blog posts for review with the click of a button” (checked on 2026-10-23). That works for ambassadors who remember. Pozto goes the other way: it watches their public accounts and finds the posts itself, including the ones that never tag you.

How a monthly quota works in Pozto

In a creator’s panel, After their posts has three choices. Stop watching is the default for gifting: Pozto stops once each deal has its posts. Keep watching goes on finding their new posts with no deadline. Every month does the same and asks for a number of posts each calendar month, from 1 to 20.

What the creator’s row saysWhat it means
This month · 1 of 2One of this month’s two posts is up.
Due in 5 days · 1 of 2The month ends within 7 days and they’re still short.
This month: done · 2 of 2This month’s posts are all up.
Missed last month · 1 of 2Last month ended short. The creator shows as Late, alongside late deals.
Months are calendar months in your team’s time zone. The month you turn it on never counts as missed. A video cross-posted to another platform counts once.

A post counts when its caption tags or names your brand or a product, or the video check finds your product on screen or said out loud. So an ambassador who shows your serum without tagging you still gets credit, and a post about another brand doesn’t fill your quota. When you turn Keep watching or Every month on, Pozto also files their videos from up to 30 days before, but not from before their latest deal.

Each deal has a type

Every deal you add for a creator says what kind it is: Gift, Paid deal, Affiliate, Ambassador or Event. Add its dates, the days they have to post, how many videos you expect and the fee, if there is one. The fee and the cost of your products give the cost per video.

  • Ambassadors: an Ambassador deal, then Every month with the posts you agreed on.
  • Affiliates: an Affiliate deal, with Every month if they’ve agreed to a posting rhythm, or Keep watching if they post when they like.
  • Paid deals and launch events: a Paid deal or Event with the videos you expect. Pozto watches until they’re all up, then stops. Our guide to influencer deliverables covers what to put in the deal.

Disclosure checked against the deal

Ambassadors and affiliates are paid, in money, commission or perks. For them a gift label isn’t enough: the FTC’s FAQ says a free-product disclosure doesn’t cover a creator who’s also paid. So Pozto grades each post against its deal:

Caption or video saysOn a Gift or EventOn a Paid deal, Affiliate or Ambassador deal
“Ad”, “Sponsored”, or the platform’s paid partnership labelClearClear
“Gifted by @yourbrand”ClearWeak
“#gifted” without saying who fromWeakWeak
NothingNoneNone
A gift with a fee is graded like a paid deal. A clear disclosure far down the caption, where it’s cut off, is weak. Pozto says what it found, never whether it’s legally enough. The caption check is on Solo and up; what’s said in the video, on Starter and up.

The rules behind this are in our guide to the FTC influencer guidelines, and you can test any post with the free disclosure checker.

Sales from ambassador codes

On every plan, Sales reads your Shopify order export and credits each order paid with a creator’s discount code to that creator, with revenue per creator. A code that starts with a creator’s handle (“MAYAGLOWS15” for @mayaglows) is matched for you; give others by hand, mark codes many people use as shared, and tie a code to a campaign’s dates. When a code moves to another creator, earlier orders stay with whoever had it then. To pay ambassadors a commission on those sales, run a free affiliate program: Pozto works out what each one is owed, and you pay them.

Setting up an ambassador program in Pozto

  1. 01

    Add your ambassadors

Paste their handles, or import the spreadsheet you already keep (CSV, Excel or a Google Sheets link). The deal type isn’t read from spreadsheets yet, so set it on each deal after the import.

  2. 02

    Add product photos

A few angles of each product let the video check find it on screen, so untagged posts count too.

  3. 03

Set the deal and the monthly number

Mark each deal Ambassador or Affiliate, then in the creator’s panel pick After their posts → Every month and the number of posts. Before you save, the panel says what it does to your plan’s active creators.

  4. 04

    Check in once a month

Filter Creators by Late to see who missed last month, and by Due to see who’s short with a week to go. The digest email lists their new posts as they’re found.

What Pozto doesn’t do for ambassadors

  • No automatic reminder for a missed month. Reminders, “Remind N late” and automatic reminders are for late deals. A missed month shows Late, and you write to the ambassador yourself.
  • Only public posts on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Stories, private accounts and anything behind a login aren’t seen. YouTube videos longer than 3 minutes aren’t counted.
  • It doesn’t pay ambassadors. An affiliate program works out commissions and lists what you owe; you send the money yourself (one PayPal or Wise file pays everyone). Pozto collects their W-9 and W-8BEN tax forms but doesn’t file 1099s.
  • Links count only in an affiliate program. A creator’s link earns once they’re a partner in your program; on its own, Sales reads discount codes from your Shopify orders.
  • No deal type from spreadsheets yet. Imports bring in creators and what you sent; set the deal type in the app.

Pricing

You pay for active creators. An ambassador on Keep watching or Every month counts as active for as long as that’s on, even in months they’ve already posted: a program of 40 ambassadors fits Starter’s 50. Monthly quotas and deal types are on every plan, Free included, for up to 10 active creators.

Questions

What is brand ambassador software?

Software for running a group of creators who post about your brand regularly, usually for perks, a fee or a commission. Pozto finds each ambassador’s posts, counts them against a monthly number and checks the disclosure. Its free affiliate programs add a page to apply on, commissions and a list of what you owe.

Do ambassadors have to send us their links?

No. Pozto checks their public TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts every few hours and finds the posts itself. Creators don’t connect their accounts or install anything. You can still add a post by link if Pozto missed one.

What happens when an ambassador misses a month?

From the 1st of the next month their row says “Missed last month · 1 of 2” and they show as Late, next to late deals. Pozto doesn’t send a reminder for a missed month, so you write to them yourself.

Can Pozto track affiliates too?

Yes, as an Affiliate deal with a monthly number of posts or Keep watching. On every plan, orders paid with their discount codes are credited to them from your Shopify order export. For links and commissions, run a free affiliate program: Pozto works out what each partner is owed, and you pay them.

Does an ambassador use up a spot on my plan every month?

Yes, while Keep watching or Every month is on, even after they’ve posted. Setting them back to Stop watching, or closing them, frees the spot.
